A history that goes back 200 years, where tradition is born

Haras Cañada de la Cruz is located in the district of Exaltación de la Cruz, only 80 km from the city of Buenos Aires, and 5 km from the city of Capilla del Señor.

The hacienda has an exclusive farmhouse that dates back to approximately 1860 and belonged to the Sosa family, the first criollos (creoles, descendants of European settlers) in the area. Completely recycled with antique objects respecting the architectural characteristics of the time, the old stately manor consists of four rooms, kitchen, living room, dining room.

The pulpería and the carriage house evoke the meetings of the locals in the old general stores, or laborers in the materas (a place where people used to gather to enjoy and drink ‘mate,‘ a typical local infusion) before and after performing rural tasks.

Those who visit us may enjoy the comfort of the place and a beautiful day outdoors.
